I live within walking distance to a public library and approximately 4 times a year this library has a book sale.
Each book sale last for 4 days and I generally go about twice each time they have the sale. Over the years I have found so many great books...fiction, non-fiction, religious, gardening, cooking, educational, children's books. You name it and it's offered.
The books are usually $1.00-$3.00 each (paperbacks maybe less than a buck?) On the last few days of the sale, it's $2.00 a bag. You can take home as many books as you can fit into a bag for $2.00. I go to every book sale offered and get so giddy when I walk into that large room filled with all of the books. Books make me happy.
The next book sale starts June 5th. If you enjoy reading as much as I do or if you are looking for a certain book or books by a particular author, let me know and I'll keep my eye open for you. Any requests out there?

You had me at "Books make me happy", as ours is a house FULL to the roofline with them. Then you iced the cake with retail therapy, good food and one incredible front garden! Thank you for having a wonderful place to visit!
Linked to you from, ummmmmmm, I think Brenda's It's All Good?? Whatever, I'll be checking back -- it was a fun visit!
Warmest regards, Ronda
Okay Linda, how thoughtful can you be. That is the sweetest thing to offer books to your readers. So nice. I do not have any requests right now though. I usually pick them up at yard sales or goodwills.
Good luck to you and have a great Memorial weekend with the family. You are so kind.
Hi Linda,
Thanks for stopping by. I'm a book lover too. Have a great time at the sale. I'll be back to look around, you have a beautiful family.
Hugs,
Sue
Ooooh I love books, Sophie Kinsella, chick lit, right now I'm into Philippa Gregory's The Boleyn Inheritance, my third book by her. I have Three Cups of Tea waiting for me and recently finished Kabul Beauty School. I'm also reading Take Two Chocolates and Call Me in the Morning. I usually have 2-3 books going at a time. I also started Anya's Story by Jenna Bush. So many books so little time!!
I love books too. I try to go to book sales every time I see one. Good for you, Linda, it sounds like you're set.

I love Books. You are so sweet to offer. That is just so like you.. I love Mystery romance books or any good book..
Have a great time at the sale! I think our library has an ongoing sale so it's pretty picked over all the time.
How fun that will be. I'm like Jan, and find my books/mags at yard sales. I can't think of any offhand that I've been looking for, but thanks for the offer to check!
Have a great Memorial Day,
Brenda :)
