We got off to a slow start yesterday because we woke up to this...
Of all days not to be able to pull out of your driveway! Our streets were being redone and they had just put new tar down when we were wanting to leave. We ended up leaving about 1:00pm but then that put us right smack in the middle of afternoon traffic. Oh well, what can you do. We made it to the RV park and our friends were waiting. Look at the view we have from our site...
We are in San Dimas at Puddingstone Lake. The RV park is immaculate and hugh with lots to do. We had a nice dinner last night and then hubby and I made a steak and eggs brunch for everyone today. We all consume so much food on these camping trips, it's amazing. But that's what it's all about, relaxing with good friends and good food. It recharges you and is good for the soul!
Happy Friday!!

Linda, that looks like an absolutely wonderful time. I grew up camping and my parents also took us to some amazing places. Mostly in Colorado and northern Arizona.
I miss it. Camping out here is an adventure to just avoid the ticks. Honestly, LYMES is serious and I want so badly to get back to the camping of my youth.
Someday, I am sure we will go again.
Looks amazing. I love the lake view. Sounds like the company and food are really good too. So glad we have chances to just kick back and enjoy the wonders of this life. Enjoy.
Aw, looks like so much fun you're having and to even keep blogging as well! What a life!
God bless,
Brenda :)
This looks like a little piece of heaven! What a beautiful view. Have a wonderful time this weekend! :)

HI! :)
just dropping by to let you know that I changed my blog address last night..it is

Candy :)
That looks like a truly beautiful spot. I know your friends loved you for cooking that amazing breakfast. For me, that is the best part about vacation - eating!
What fun to be away and relaxing, the food doesn't sound bad either!
It must be great to be able to enjoy camping and a good bed at night. One of the last times we camped at Lake Cushman, my DH woke up and could hardly move from the damp and cold! Poor guy, so next time we bring a king size air mattress...we wake up on the ground again, we had sprung a mystery leak! The rest of the adventure was fun, just not the sleeping parts!
Maybe we can trade one of the boys for an RV, no one would do it though, our huge boys would cost more to feed then the gas would!
Sigh...
Have a wonderful time with your hubby and friends,
Big Hugs! Donna Lynn
