I am so excited. You are so creative & fun. Also - I remember my mom being up at the crack of dawn to go to work at the hosp.
What unit do you work in? I don't know if I've ever read it, or I am just having a blonde moment. Sorry if you have!
My mom was in Out patient recovery forever! She loved it. I am so glad your back! I miss you when your gone.
Bren, I haven't really posted anything about my job specifically, so...
I am a charge nurse in a dialysis unit...one of the largest units in the U.S. It was privately owned until the end of last year so we all have been busy adjusting to now being owned by a large corporation.
Although I've been a nurse for years, I never really worked until my son was a high school senior! I always knew my "career" would come later on. I was a stay at home mom and loved it.
I've been at my job for 5 years and I work 2 12-hr shifts a week. I had worked full-time (3 shifts/wk) up until a few months ago but when hubby retired I cut back my hours too! I love my job, it's a perfect fit for me. I'm one of the lucky ones in life who loves what they do...not many people can say that nowdays!
