I survived Magic Mountain yesterday...and actually had a super time. It was hot as can be but every now and then you'd feel this wonderful little breeze and all would be well. Yes, it was crowded but not overwhelming in any way. I think we waited 1 hour for one particular ride but others we walked right up to. Not bad at all for a summer day.
We're tired today and moving pretty slow. The girls want to go get pedicures and asked me to go...count me in! I'd love someone to pamper my poor tired feet about now.
I got a message from a friend this morning saying that she had something for me...
Thank you Patti! I appreciate it so much! The rules say I am supposed to take this award and then pass it on. I will definately pass it on, but for now, I'm off to get pampered.
*** I just got home from getting my pedicure. Our feet look great. Little Sis got a brow wax and I got a lip wax, a first for me. All I can say is...ouch!

Way to brave the heat! Glad the lines and crowds weren't too bad. The pampering sounds like the perfect end to the day. I must get a lip wax soon, or change my name to Helga.
It sounds like fun! Grown-up girls are really a joy to hang out with :-)

a pedicure sounds divine right now... i just completed a day of painting:b i'm so happy you all had a fun time at six flags. i haven't been to a six flags park since my junior year in high school... 22 years ago!!!

Oh That's gotta hurt... I've had my eye brows done. But can't imagine my lip.. Can you even imagine how some do other parts too! Double ouch- Pass out ouch!
I love days like that, give me friends and a spa treatment and Im happy, I absolutely adore having pedicures, waxing, body scrubs, massages, ooohhh I want to get in the car now and drive to one of my favorite day spas and disappear!!!
There is a fabulous one about an hour away. The guy who owns it bought the property about 15 years ago and he was sure there were hot springs on the property - well it took him 13 years to find them, but he did.
Its amazing, they have about 6 hot springs which increase in temperature as you go up the hill, the first one is 37 and then they get hotter until I think the last one is something like 50!!!
Then there is the actual day spa part with all the lovely treatments. They use products that were created with some aboriginal people in northern australia, amazing products. Last time I went I had the full body salt scrub and massage -heaven....
It has long been a dream of mine to go to Magic Mountain - maybe one day!!! Yeah for the award and pedicures - so much fun!

I'm glad you survived the park. Sounds like a pedicure was a nice way to end the day. The lip waxing just a nesseccary evil!
