But Jake will get better and be able to walk again...I choose to believe this! With all of the love and prayers that are being said on his behalf, how can he not heal and have the long life that he deserves!
My sweet sweet sister Debbie visited him twice today at the vet hospital. He was still pretty groggy and also had been given pain medication but she said she was sitting on the floor, had the door of his cage open and was kissing, kissing, kissing him. She said finally he just turned his head away...yep, that's my Jake. He's not much of a kisser.
Debbie said she told Jake he'd better feel better because his mommy was coming tomorrow...and you know what, like it or not, he's getting lots and lots of kisses!!
P.S. Thank you Bren for your telephone call...I love you friend!
P.S.S. Happy Halloween!

It's going to be alright. You guys can get through this. Have Faith & Be Strong!!
Have a safe drive there tomorrow. Remember to take his favorite toy for him to lay by & cuddle when your not there.
Get some rest my friend.. You need to take care of yourself...
I am so sorry. We had this happen to our beloved dog Gus. He chased many a ball for years and years after the operation. The only reason we knew it had not been just a bad dream was the scare that was left behind. Other than that, he was old Gus through and through.
Jake will be in our prayers. m
Looking forward to your post after seeing Jake.
Hang in there!
Thank you so much for your sweet comments on the loss of our beloved Slyvester. I came to your blog to thank you and read that your beloved Jake is having a terrible health crisis as well. My prayers for his complete recovery. Bless your heart, I can only imagine how difficult of a time this is for you (((Big Hugs))) Take care of yourself as well so you'll be able to care for him when he can come home.
I'll be keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers.

Just wanted you to know I was thinking about you.
Oh no I just stopped by to wish you a Happy Halloween and then I read about Jake. I am so sorry he is going through all of this. I will keep both of you in my thoughts and prayers. Our animals are very precious to us too so I know how you feel.
I just dropped by and read what has happened to Jake. I know how attached we get to our animals...they are a part of our family. I know that you love him and feel, like you, that everything will be ok. I'll say a prayer for you right now.
