It's really a cute idea what they do each year. If you have a child or grandchild that you would like Santa to give a gift to, you bring a gift wrapped with your child's name on it to the campout. After dinner, Santa and Mrs. Claus pay a visit and they hand out gifts. Each child sits on Santa's lap, gets their picture taken, and is given the gift that their parent/grandparent brought. The kids love it. Even this big kid (hubby) wanted some of Santa's attention, although the jury's still out on whether he's been good or bad this year!
It was alot of fun and dinner was delicious...but the best part is spending time with treasured friends.

I like seeing Mrs. Clause involved.
How fun for the kiddos especially.
Brenda :)
What fun that is. I love that they do that. I can't believe you had another camping trip come & go. I am really out of the loop. I've missed you.
Did I say thank you for the See's butterscotches? I loved them. I have your thank you card sitting in my room. I am so very sorry! Please forgive my horrible delay.
Hi Linda,
Here's the link to get the snow on your blog...it's very simple to do. Hey, if I can do it, anyone can!

That sounds completely enchanting!! What is a camping club? WHat fun you are having over at your house-----
How fun. Love Santa. He looks like the real thing.
I love Santa! Like I said in a previous post, when we were in Branson we four adult ladies wanted our picture taken with him but he was gone at the time. I thought that would have been a fun picture.
Looks like y'all had a wonderful time together.
As for my shopping, I've done a little, but still have a lot to go.
Burrr, it turned cold and a little icy here today. I had to scrape my car window after work.
I'll keep you in my prayers Linda. I know what you mean about getting a little too much thrown at you all at once. God is faithful to His promises and He will see you through.
Love,
Val

Are camping clubs pretty active these days? I used to go with my Aunt sometimes. I will never forget the Halloween camp i went too. They had a cake walk and I won a black cat cake. It was so nasty with this nasty tasting black frosting!! lol But it was a fun time.
I love your camping club stories!
How fun to get together with friends:)
Enjoyed your thrifting deals and once you start going to the thrift store there is NO Turning BACK:)Love the good deals you bought.
