Oh Happy Day!

The UPS man delivered a very special package to us on Thursday...

YES, JAKE GOT HIS WHEELS!

It's a little slow going and he's not quite sure about all of it yet. It will take some time to adjust, after all, he's been immobile for almost 3 months now. We're putting him in the cart a little each day.

Right now he's outside with hubby and just walked up to the door. Something I haven't seen for a very long time...Oh Happy Day!

(I've always been one who keeps my walls and baseboards in great shape. Oh Lord, I hate to see what they're going to look like from now on!)

Oh - how exciting! Just like a human patient, he needs to build up his strength again, then he'll really go!

That has to be the coolest thing I have ever seen!
Before long you will have to teach him to honk a horn...as he comes RUNNING to everyone!
I am so excited for you!

I was just talking to a friend that loves my dog (not as much as I do, but close) and we were talking about if she ever got paralyzed. But how cute she would look with her little wheels. Jake looks SOO good with those. I bet it's such a relief for him to have some variety and raise his spirits up! YEAH!

We had a dog that used on of these. It worked great and we had many years with him full of love and fun. I know it will be the same for you and Jake. M
