My Oh So Productive Day!

I can be so productive when I want to...and yesterday I wanted to!

The day started out slow. I was tired. We went out of town on Thursday and didn't get home until after midnight so Friday was slow going at first. Thankfully I picked up speed as the day progressed.

I spray painted and believe it or not, no black this time. I used white paint for another project/idea that I got from blogland. More on this later I promise!

I spent a good portion of my time working on these...

Yay! I was able to package up lots of "good mail" and get it ready for mailing. I also got 5 Easter gift bags ready for our college girl and her roommates. Hey, you're never too old for a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Speaking of Easter, aren't these carrot bags cute! I packaged these up for the dialysis techs that work in my unit. I'll hand them out at work next week but at least they're done and ready to go.

I was able to make all of these treat bags for about $12! I spent $10 on the candy, $2 for 20 treat bags, and I already had the ribbon. It just goes to show that you don't have to spend alot of money in order to do something nice for someone. I appreciate the people that I work with and I like doing little things for them during the holidays. It doesn't have to be extravagant...just from the heart.

We have a very very busy week ahead of us next week so I'm glad I was able to get some things accomplished yesterday.

Have you had any productive days lately?

Love the treat bags...very sweet!

I ordered some Easter goodies online for my girls since mailing packages from here can get a little pricey and anything with any sort of food generally gets marked by customs so often it is delayed in delivery. It's not as personal as I'd like but at least they get something. I'm sure your daughter and her roomies will love their surprise Easter treats.

Happy Weekend!

Good Morning Miz Linda,

Cute treat bags!

The hubby and me picked out some Easter treats for the boy and girl. I haven't found a container yet for the basket part. I'm thinking I might end up with a decorated bag instead.

A productive day sounds divine! Have a wonderfully blessed weekend!

Well you certainly got lots accomplished! Much more than I have lately. I love the carrots. It's so thoughtful of you to make them for your co-workers. I used to make them years ago with tangerine jelly bellies in clear cellophane and a green bow on top. Praying you have a restful weekend!Hugs, Loretta

Linda,
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
I checked out your blog and came across your laundry room.
Very nice! I'm still without a washing machine so I'm drooling.

I love productive days and had quite a productive weekend myself (part of which was indeed spent spray-painting!). Your treat bags look cute, and so thoughtful. I like doing things like that but seem to have a hard time finding/making the time to do so.
