The Teachings Of Jon

Just wanted to share this touching clip with you. It's amazing to me how God puts just the right people in just the right families.

I think I've fallen in love with Jon.

Sometime it seems that those with "disabilities" are the greatest teacher ---example setters--and have magical ways of humbling us. Very nice piece.

Linda,
Thank you for sharing this video.

One of the most rewarding and humbling things I have done in my life was be a Special Olympics Coach. I have never seen such unconditonal love as with the Amazing people I was able to spend time with. At night I was exhausted...but in a good way...I may have cleaned a hotel bathroom floor up that was flooded because someone wanted to "SWIM in the tub" or chase an athlete down the hall with no pants on because they were "Smashing" him.
But, when a person with "Downs" who has sensory issues comes up and hugs you and licks your cheek and whispers they love you...very few things will pull your heart strings as much as that.
Again, thank you for sharing "Jon" with me.

What a lovely and touching video. God doean't make mistakes, He just makes each of us different. He is certainly a blessing to all who can appreciate his "difference". Hugs, Loretta

Linda, that you so much for sharing this. I think the simplest things in life are too often forgotten, and some of the dearest people are those with disabilities that take so little, but give back so much.
