So here's the question: How often do you get your hair cut? I'm getting a haircut today at 9:30. I usually get a good cut about every 8 weeks but my last appointment was only 5 weeks ago. She didn't take enough off and now my hair looks straggly. I don't have good hair. My daughter was the one blessed in that department!

Not often enough. I'll get a cut then I'll want to grow it out. Then when it's grown out I don't like it and I'll get it cut. Sometimes 4-6 months will pass without a cut. I have wavy hair but it's not nice waves, it's all over the place waves so layered cuts work best even though I love the look of all one length. Have a great weekend! Hugs, Loretta
I should do it more often then I do because generally (like right now) the sides are cut too short (I can't tuck it behind my ears and I told her to keep it long enough for me to do that) and so I will let it grow out. Then the back gets too long while the sides are growing and when I ask them to just cut the back their scissors always seem to start gravitating towards my sides again...what's with that??? I tell them and then they tell me they have to blend...I trust them and get home and find out it is too short again. So the answer to your question...I wait a long time and look scraggly in between. I am not mad because it will grow back and I just have to work with it.
Like Loretta, my hair is also wavy and I would rather not have the layers but that does seem to work best.
I will ditto Loretta word for word. I keep threatening dreads.
I get mine colored every 7 weeks. I am trying to grow my hair a little longer right now, so am not cutting for about another 2-3 months. I am bot sure if I will be able to stand it! Have fun getting your haircut this morning! :) Happy weekend too! :)
I get it done about every 6 weeks. My last cut wasn't great either and it's just not looking great. I wasn't blessed with great hair either.
I get my haircut about every eight weeks, but I get it colored every two weeks, yikes, don't add that up!
I get mine cut every 4 to 6 weeks, but a times I can go months without a real hair cut and end up hacking away at it myself.
I get mine cut every 6-8 weeks. My hair is wavy to curly but I use a flat iron. After years of hair that I hated, I finally like it most days. It doesn't take me that long, I don't wash it every day, and it's all good. I've had highlights, and love them, but hate spending $$ on it, so I either go without or do it myself.

Great question... unfortunatly, I don't think one lady is going to say they like their hair!!
A good cut will just never happen for me because my hair refuses to cooperate. It is super curly. Nicole Kidman curly. If the wind hits it or I sleep on it, I look like a witch. If I straighten it, it looks stiff and one drop of water will curl it right up. Getting it cut doesn't help. I wear it up in a clip most of the time.
God, I'm depressed now!! ;-)

I go about every 8 weeks and trim my bangs and front in-between as she is SO EXPENSIVE... I have tried other people...I'm so Fussy about my hair and hubby goes to a More "reasonable" place...so I figure it evens out!! LOL !!

Every 4-6 weeks. It bugs me when the back gets too long. I love a good haircut.
since i'm a ponytail girl... i only get mine trimmed about once every 6 months or so. however, since i'm a graying girl, i get mine colored about once every 5 or 6 weeks:P

With Troy being out of work. I have only had my hair done once in the last 6 months... I am dying!! Because it is starting to look gross to me. I look like white trash with my highlights grown out so far & split ends...

I usually get mine cut and colored about every 8 to 10 weeks. Otherwise the growing out roots are getting so gray I look like an old lady!!!!
Every six weeks. Only because my roots need to be done and it's easier to get it all done at once. I have the best hair girl around, she makes it look fabulous.
When I had short hair, I had to get it cut every 4-6 weeks because my hair grows so fast.
Now, I get it cut when I get tired of cutting my own bangs and the rest of it looks absolutely awful. Probably not the best schedule, but my hair is stick-straight and there aren't really many "styles" that it will keep. So it stays medium length now and I wear it in a ponytail most of the time because it is so hot here.
