After Years Of Talking About It

She finally had it done...

And she's done great!

Courtney came home from Arizona on Sunday to get her wisdom teeth out this week. She had all 4 taken out at once. It was so cute, she had her mouth full of gauze and couldn't talk so she was texting my husband while he was driving...and she was sitting in the passenger seat next to him! She's been great about keeping her face iced with frozen packages of peas and the swelling has been minimal.

Both of my kids have needed their wisdom teeth out but have refused to go through the process. Brandon once had the consultation, x-rays, and arrangements were all made when he backed out. Courtney finally went through with it. I'm proud of you Sis!

As the nurse said to Nadine last week, "Well you'll never have to go through this again"! Love the picture! I didn't attempt to take a picture for fear of flying objects! Oh and glad to see she's icing, Nadine's swelling FINALLY went down.

Hope she's feeling better soon. It's gotta be rough having them done all at once. Cassie needs 2 of hers taken out and I can't believe how expensive it is...even tho we have insurance!!!

I'm sorry she had to go through that but it's good that she did if they were giving her trouble. My sister's were so badly impacted that she had only 2 done at a time. She said the pain was horrible. She couldn't eat or speak for days and just shivered with pain. It was enough to keep me from having mine out. I am now 52 and my wisdom teeth haven't given me a minutes worth of trouble. I don't even know why the dentist wanted them out. I hope she feels better soon! Hugs, Loretta

Poor thing. I guess doing it all at once is probably the way to do it. Of course what would I know, I still have 1 of mine.
