My old computer died at the beginning of summer. I'd only had it for about 2 years but the hard drive gave out. I bought another laptop, same brand, just about same everything and all was fine and dandy until this morning. We've been away so I was catching up on my blog reading this morning and everything was working great. I turned off the computer and a few hours later my husband wanted to use the computer to download some songs and nothing. I mean nothing!
He was nice enough to run the computer to Best Buy to have it checked out and guess what...the hard drive gave out...again! It will be fixed for free but you'd better believe I won't be buying an HP next time. We have 4 laptops in this family and I'm the only one that has had any computer problems...and I'm the only one with an HP.
I won't have my computer back for 2 weeks so I'll be using my husband's computer when I can. I hope I don't miss too much of your Fall and Halloween decorating!

Sorry for your computer troubles...we got a Mac when we moved and so far I love it. I'm still learning but they offer so many great online tutorials plus you can sign up for one on one tutoring in the stores. My girls have Macs too so they can help me out.

Sorry you're having computer problems. I actually have an HP and I'm going into my 6th year with it. I was going to buy another when this one goes but I'll think twice about it now. I guess I was just lucky to get one of the good ones. Hugs, Loretta

Sorry to hear about your computer woes. My hard drive bit the dust this summer but I was only without it for 3 days and thought I would go crazy. I am on my computer ALOT! My sympathizes to you and try and stay sane.

So sorry Linda. I have to say I love, love, love my Dell. I have had it for about 7 years. I have had one hard drive crash but it was fixed quickly and the thing just keeps plugging along...I really hope I didn't jinx something.
That a bummer. Glad they'll fix it for free...they'd better!
I personally have had no trouble with HP and much prefer it over Dell (from H E double hockey stick!). Can you tell we've had a lot of trouble with Dell?!!!
