I've been looking at Target and different places for a lamp to put in my laundry room. I didn't have a particular style in mind but when I saw this one at Goodwill for $3.95, I knew I couldn't pass it up. It was even the perfect antique bronze color I was looking for. Yippee, no spray painting involved in this project! I purchased the lamp shade at Target.
My original thought was to put a lamp on a nice tray and have it sit on my dryer but I don't have an available outlet nearby. In the meantime, it's working well on the counter.

Oh what a pretty lamp! You did very well on that buy, that's for sure. Lovely. I'm looking for lamps, too, as my daughter took 5 of mine to furnish her first apartment. We're sitting in the dark!

No lamp in my UGLY..70's laundry room. That is ANOTHER project...I have too many...HELP!! I'm feeling overwhelmed...not one room is completely finished and it's bugging ME!!!
I don't get the flu shot...and I have heard that the swine flu shot hasn't been tested on enough people...whatever that means..

Nope, no lamp in my laundry room. I'd have room if there wasn't so much laundry and other stuff getting all in the way!
My laundry room is the dump of the house. Everyone walks straight into the house, straight into the laundry and unloads. Oh well, better there than the kitchen counter.
I have the worst laundry room in the world...it is so small that I barely fit with the washer and dryer...so small that we couldn't get them to stack!!! yep...I LOVE laundry day! lol
I do however sincerely admire your lamp!

I love this lamp. No, I don't have a lamp in my laundry room, mine is too small and no plug nearby. However, I think is add such warmth...
I have that same lamp shade but in my master bedroom. I put black fringe on it and a monogram letter on it. I don't have room in my laundry room for a lamp but what a neat idea!

Nice lamp! My laundry area is in the walkout basement. Not pretty at all. My boys, I mean dogs, share the area with their indoor/outdoor kennel. Oh, and they say hi to Jake!

Hope you and Jake are good! I love that little laundry room lamp. I wish my laundry rom was big enough for a lamp. Mine is more a closet. I am jealous!

I have that exact lamp. I swapped out the shade for another one and put trim on it. I do have a cute lamp in my newly remodeled laundry room, there's no outlet for it though, so it's mostly for looks.
