So here's the question: Do you watch The Office?
They showed a segment of The Office on the plane Wednesday. I've never watched it...I'm just not a TV watcher.
Are you a fan of the show?
I go back to work today after being gone for 2 whole weeks. Wish me luck! I do know that one of my patients, a 50 year old man, passed away while I was gone. Even though our patients are on dialysis, it's still always a shock when one of them passes away. Such sad news!

We love the Office. My married daughter was watching it the first year and got the rest of the family hooked.

I don't watch The Office so... no opinion there. I'm sorry about your patient. Nursing opens your life for losses all along the way... sometimes I think the effect is cumulative. Fifty seems so young.

No I don't watch The Office but daughter does. I tried to watch it once.
Good luck going back to work, I imagine it will be hard after that glorious vacation but after a day I am sure you'll be back to the swing of things.
I don't get a vacation from my job, they usually go with me.
I haven't been much of a TV watcher until we moved and they upgraded us to a DVR. Now we record stuff to watch later, including The Office. That is one show that David and I sit down and watch together.
No I have never watched the Office. I only have one show that I'm addicted to, NCIS! Love it! Don't have cable so it's easy to not be addicted to anything else.
Sorry you have to be home. I think I'd rather be on the beach, it's really cold here and we're supposed to get snow tomorrow.

i have only ever seen the office once. it may be the greatest comedy on tv right now (i know there are many fans); but i just cannot seem to get into any of the sitcoms on tv right now.

Yikes, hard to go back to work after a nice break such as yours.
That is very sad though about the man who passed away ---even though you know the reality of their mortality, it is still sad.
I do not watch The Office but everyone I talk to who does LOVES IT.

It's hard going back to work after a weekend! I can't imagine after 2 weeks! It's sad to have someone you have cared for die.
I have watched the office several times. It has its funny moments but most of the time I'm embarrassed for the boss! His character is quite a doofus! (whatever that means)

I love, love The Office. But if you're going to start watching it, you have to start at the beginning to get the whole effect. You can watch it otherwise, but knowing the history of these people makes it even better.
Sorry about your patient. When my grandpa passed away recently, we had many people at his care center tell us how much they were going to miss them. It's always hard to see someone go that you've known.
I couldn't stand the show "The Office" my kids would set and laugh non stop. Then...I realized "Micheal" reminded me of a manager name Mike that I had a few years ago....soon I saw many other co-workers in the characters...
I got some pretty good laughs from it.
I've watched The Office from day 1 - often through my fingers because it makes me cringe so much...
I don't watch the office but I hear alot about it....
