Yes, you are reading it right! It was 70 degrees yesterday. The rain is gone and we've got bright, sunny skies. At least for now anyways.
Even though it was a beautiful spring like day, this was my view as I was driving...
This is what makes California so appealing. You can bask in beautiful, shorts type weather in the morning then drive 1 hour and go skiing in the afternoon. In fact, you could go to the mountains, the beach, and the desert all in the same day if you wanted to. Not too many places in this country offer such diversity. Believe me, it's great. The only problem is that you have to take all the CA traffic that comes with it.

What a beautiful view.
Right now we are having perfect weather.
Love It!
Lovely view, and while I'm not a winter or snow girl, I think the diversity is cool!!
Everybody's got something they collect. I don't collect dishtowels but I do collect paperweights.

We live at the base of Mt. Baldy, and this gorgeous 70 degree weather and snow capped mountains are so beautiful. You are right, the weather is appealing, but I do wish we had seasons. And, at times, less people.
What a beautiful view! The temperature looks wonderful too, as we are in the middle of a cold snap and the temps yesterday only reached 12.
OK Linda,
I'm trying really hard not to be too bitter! Uhm, it's not working yet.
We are so freezing cold here!!!!!!!
OK, I'm better now.
You better be enjoying that!
Show Off! I'm so tired of winter already and it hasn't even been a bad one.
Looks like a lovely day and I'm glad you still appreciate the near-perfect conditions your State provides.
My daughter just sent us similar photos from Riverside, CA. Pretty scenery. You guys have had a good bit of rain lately.
We are under a winter storm warning right now. It's rare here in SC but happens every couple of years.
Looks like beautiful weather, Linda. We just got snow last night and freezing rain and ice. Yuk!
Beautiful view...while driving.....
Linda,
You should see this kind of view when you move to Colorado. I know many years ago when we were in Denver (once in Jan/Feb and then again in March) we would see snow on the mountains and it would be warmer (maybe not 70 degrees). Have you put your house up yet?

Gorgeous view Linda. Kathi
Ahhhh 70 degrees, it sounds so nice! And to think that we lived in California when I was a young girl. My parents decided to settle in Illinois. What were they thinking?!
Love Di
P.S. We did finally get sunshine all day yesterday. The first time in weeks!
Oh man, you lucky girl, 70 degrees.
I AM SO OVER WINTER!!
I am glad you got rid of your rain. I love all four season but Spring is my least favorite just because I really do not love rain.
I am jumping up and down today because after a warm January we have a snow day - I am weird! ha ha
Beautiful picture.
It is Beautiful here too. I got your cute Valentines present. I can't even tell you how much it lifted me up.. Yes my friend Cindy is terminal. She was moved to Hospice Friday - her sons 12th birthday! And if you can believe it her husband is now in the hospital too, but should be out tomorrow. Total exhaustion!
It has been a very hard week. We don't know how long she has. She is coherent & able to talk.
I am so blessed to have her as my friend & I will miss her so bad when she goes. But I know that someday I will see her again.
Thank you for being a friend!
You're a cruel cruel woman posting that!
Okay, I'm just jealous
Ok Linda,
We must leave near each other...I am in Riverside~~~Those mountains look very familiar:)
