So here's the question(s):
* Do you use eyeliner?
* Pencil, Liquid, or Gel/Cream?
* Do you find that one particular eyeliner brand works better than another?
I've mentioned before that I'm not good at applying make-up. I've always found this strange because my mom could have been a make-up artist, she's that good. I must have never shown an interest in having her teach me her make-up techniques because she never did. My sisters were smart, they observed and learned.
So how does an old lady like me finally learn some tricks of the trade on applying make-up?
She watches YouTube! Make-Up 101!
I bought the Urban Decay eyeliner pencil yesterday at Sephora. I'll let you know how I like it. I've also started using an eyeshadow primer. Seriously, who knew?

Hey Linda! I do use eyeliner. Depending on my mood, I will use a liquid or a pencil. I just use the drug store brand, I think what I have now are both maybelline. In fact I know the pencil is, I have used it since I was in highschool (that brand).
I do love me some eyeshadow primer from Sephora - but I am too cheap to spend a lot of money. The older I get, the less I wear.
Foundation, blush, bronzer, matte eyeshadow and mascara on the top lashes. Add lipstick and I'm done.

I do wear eyeliner but it smudges after a few hours, maybe I need to try the shadow primer first. I mostly use a pencil, Mary Kay, because my old neighbor sold it but sometimes I use liquid (don't like it as much).
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Colorscience. That's the line of stuff we sell at Derma Chic (my second job to keep me in things I love) I use a very skinny skinny brush and rock it on, very lightly, then I smudge it a bit. I like smudgy.

Yes, I use eyeliner. I've been using the ordinary over the counter Cover Girl (now called Cover Girl Perfect Point Plus). It goes on real smooth, and I usually buy the charcoal color.
In fact I never go without eyeliner!
I still use my Clinique eye pencils. All other makeup I wear is mineral make up and I LOVE it!
I have to have my eyeliner... I use a Clinique pencil liner.
I learned to do that super smoky eye look on youtube. It worked really well-I loved it. That's what I need-step by step instructions.
I like eyeliner but I can't find one that stays on all day. Let me know if you do!

I must be weird - I don't use eyeliner. I feel like it looks like my eyes are too dark when I use it. I probably need to look at YouTube too!
I love my Urban Decay primer! I use eyeliner, either a soft pencil from Ulta, or liquid from Sephora, depending on the look I want that day.
oh, I can so tell I need to stay tuned for more on this subject... any pointers will be appreciated. Since developing the "hooded-eye" seems everything just smears all together!!! Primer, huh?
I use Bare minerals eyeliner. Most of the makeup I use is from Bare minerals.
I am not good at applying either. That is funny I have been watching You tube videos on makeup application too!!
I wear black, Loreal, pencil liner. I never had a problem with putting make-up on until the past couple of years. Now I can't see what I am doing without my glasses on!

I find it stays on longer.
i'm always scared to use eye liner. i've got one but is not really fond with it. perhaps i need to discover about it more :)

nope I don't use eye liner, my eyes water so bad I can't see, I have tried every brand on the market, nothing works. Even mascara causes them to water.

I use a pencil. Sometimes I use a powder liner and a liner brush. I am to spazy to use liquid.
Hi Linda, I never go anywhere without eyeliner! I found an eyeliner I just love. It's from Laura Geller. It's a powder pencil liner and I find it lasts all day for me. It gives a nice smokey look and comes in lots of nice colors although I only use black or brown. It takes me about 30 seconds to do both eyes and it has a soft blending tip on the other end to give it a nice soft look.

On my trip to the Olympics, I sister asked me if I use an eye shadow primer and she got hers from Sephora at JC Penney!!!!
I will be getting me some and soon!!!!
I use eye liner, and I like the gel kind, kinda like a pencil but it rolls out, it is Revlon I think, I use dark brown, black is well too black, I apply a somewhat thick like on top, and sometimes none on the bottom, go to a Mac Make up or Sephora for a make up day!!!!
It is very fun and helpful!!!!

I love my pencil liner.
I am bad with make up too.
I LOVE the look of liner but have yet to find one that doesn't end up making me look like a racoon in an hour.
I often wonder how other people do not end up with those big dark circles from their make up under their eyes.
I need help! LOL
