Photo Resolution 2010 and Wordless Wednesday

8/52:

**********************************************************

Before Christmas, I asked my blogging friend Donna to paint a portrait of Jake for me. She used the header from my blog to paint this portrait of Jake. As you can see, she is a very talented artist.

About a month ago, my sister Kim had to put her precious cat Babes to sleep after having her for 19 years. As soon as I found out about Babes, I asked Donna to paint a portrait of Babes for my sister. Again, she did an amazing job.

Without my sister knowing it, I emailed Donna a picture of Babes. Donna captured Babes perfectly and my sister cried and cried when I gave it to her for Valentine's Day. Both of these paintings are treasures to us.

If you would like to have a portrait done of your 4-legged baby, contact Donna at http://donnas-art.blogspot.com. She is a talented artist and a sweet blogging friend too!

The paintings are gorgeous!! What a talented artist Donna is! I'd love to send a picture of my pets if I could just get them to sit still long enough! ;-)

She did a beautiful job. My mom is an artist and did a painting of my dad's two dogs for him-They have both passed on now-My dad treasures the paintings so much.
It's so nice of you to give your sister such a wonderful gift.

That is priceless! I love it. I bet your sister was so happy. We had a cat for 16 years and I wish we would have had something like this.
