Photo Resolution 2010 and Wordless Wednesday

Wordless Wednesday

*********************************************************

This weekend is camping club weekend! Of course, we will be celebrating Valentine's Day so I've got alot of work to do today. I'm hoping to make BIG heart shaped chocolate chip cookies, decorate them, wrap them, then give them out this weekend. Plus, I need to figure out what food I'll be bringing to the campout.

If you've been reading my blog for very long, you know that our camping friends eat very well at the campouts! No hot dogs and beans for this group! Nope, no way! Believe me, I've tried! It's always a challenge for me, the cooking impaired girl, to come up with winners because remember, I camp with gourmet cooks...and that's the truth! Luckily, there are lots and lots of cooking blogs to get great ideas from. Guess I'd better get browsing!

Hope you have a fun time camping this weekend, Linda! Personally, I'm a hot dog kind of girl when it comes to camping out. I say...the simpler, the better! :)

Have a great weekend of camping! Every time you talk of it, I'm reminded of the club we belonged to my entire youth.........oh the stories I could tell, of the adults and the kids/teens. We had really good times!

I haven't read your blog long enough to know about the camping, but it sounds like the food is a definite highlight. It would have to be for me--I hate camping. I also am intimidated by good cooks. You, however, seem to adjust well. The cookies should be a hit. Think I'll go make some today.
Enjoy the outing!

Gooseberry Patch has an RV cookbook. I often thought of ordering it for a friend who had a camper and went to a campground every weekend. Just go to Gooseberrypatch.com.

Hi Linda,
Thank you for your comments and your visit to Gatherings. Yes, Maui is the most wonderful place on Planet Earth. I wish I could spend more time there. Actually, I am planning a trip there with my sister in the next few months.

I have just been reading some of your blog, and enjoying it very much. I am looking forward to reading more...and hope you will come back and visit me at Gatherings often.

Enjoy your camping...

Love your hearts...and your heart!

Have fun camping. I hate cooking for good cooks also. It's a little intimidating.

This is the first time I have been on your bog. Your hearts are very nice! When I saw your header, I first did not think the dog was real. What a cutie!
