Photo Resolution 2010

5/52:

I'm sorry, I know you probably can't read the saying on this truck very well but it's been my lifelong motto "Do a job big or small, Do it right or not at all!"

I've preached this very same thing to my kids at least 1000 times I'm sure. I've always told them that if you're taking the time to do something, whatever it is, do it right and give it your best THE FIRST TIME, or don't do it at all.

I'm glad to see that a business owner thinks along those same lines as well!

I love that saying! I picture the owner of this business taking that saying from his childhood and putting it right on the truck!

We have something like that for the kiddos: "Go big or go home."

They know when I say that they should be doing their absolute best at whatever they are doing.

that is awesome to see that on a business truck!

I agree Linda, if a job is worth doing, it's worth doing right.
I like your photo. But then I like taking pictures of interesting things besides people..I laughed at my Granddaughter, yesterday when she was looking through my pictures of dead trees, woodpecker holes and other things and she said" hummm, I don't get it, Granny you are weird"...lol..

Society needs the reinforcement of wisdom such as this! Kudos to the business & to you for capturing it on "film".

Great saying. I've never heard it that way but I like it! My mom would always say, "Any job worth doing is worth doing well." I guess it means the same.

I couldn't agree more -- a great reminder. Thanks.

HI Linda!!!!!
SO you live in AZ now?????
If so do I have a great group of bloggers to introduce you to, I will be organizing our next get together luncheon, coming up very soon!!!!!
I have Preached that same message to my kids as well, only mine went something like this, it takes more time to do the job twice then to do the job right the first time, so if you are making your bed, make it right, rather then re-ding, did I make my kids some OCD obsessed little frieks, not at all, now that they live away, well oldest son still technically lives at home, it's just that he has alot of friends in Tempe near where he now goes to Law School!!!! SO he comes home 4 maybe 5 nights a week!!!!That way what I don't see or know is better!!!! He is a Great kid!!!
haha
glad you popped over and I look forward to getting to know you better!!!!!
hugs,
jamie
