Right off the bat I noticed a Ray Ban eyeglass case and picked it up thinking it probably had a cheap pair of sunglasses in it. I was pleasantly SURPRISED and SHOCKED to find these in there instead...
A great pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. Maui Jim's are not cheap glasses and these are in perfect condition, with not a scratch on them. I just couldn't believe someone would give them to Goodwill and I couldn't believe the price on the sticker either...$2!
I normally don't show my husband my little thrifting goodies (because I don't want to see him roll his eyes) but I couldn't wait to show him the glasses. He's got a few pair of Maui Jim's and knows exactly what they retail for. Long story short, there was no eye rolling that day!
I think this may just be my best thrifty find ever!

No Linda, I'll bet there was eye brow lifting when your husband heard about that bargain! My husband doesn't seem to mind my thrift shopping. As a matter of fact, if I am feeling down, he will suggest that I go to my favorite thrift store for awhile. I can get lost in there for an hour! Sometimes, reluctantly, he will even come with. LUCKY!!!!! Even as we speak my Maui Jims are at the Maui Jim hospital getting the earpiece fixed!

funny story about ray bans... my best frien from college STILL has my boyfriend's (from college) aviator ray bans!!! they were the RAGE in our corner of the world circa 1987.
