It's a small chip and the dentist has fixed it before but I have a feeling I'm going to have to do something drastic, like cap my tooth or something. I'm afraid! That seems soooo drastic! What if the color of the capped tooth doesn't match the color of the tooth next to it!

I had a tooth capped, one next to the two front teeth and they match exactly. I hope whatever you do, that it works. Dentistry has really come a long way!

They can match a cap in color to your teeth - no hillbilly look for you!

Seriously, that is no fun. If it makes you feel any better my brother broke off half of his front tooth and they capped it, and he has never had a problem with it being a different color or the cap coming off, etc...You'd never know. Dentists do a pretty great job these days :D

I'm positive the dentist will match the color if he caps it. It probably needs the cap to protect it too. Snaggle Tooth is not such a good look now days.
I'm pretty sure that they can match that perfectly now. But it's costly! Good luck Linda, hopefully you'll be smiling pretty again soon!

I think they are pretty good now when it comes to matching. But, yuk! The dentist might be my least favorite place to go...hope all went well.

Oh dental issues, I was there for 2 hours last week, and I still feel tingling in my mouth, way to much novacaine!!!
