- Hi, my name is Linda! After being away from the blogging world for a number of years, I thought I'd give it another try. I've missed the creative outlet I once enjoyed and I especially have missed the friendships that developed. I'm looking forward to this new (but familiar) adventure! Since blogging last, my life has drastically changed! I've been blessed with a wonderful handsome husband, bonus children and grandchildren, and I became "Mimi" to one gorgeous little guy! I am blessed beyond measure! One thing hasn't changed tho and never will...I am a lover of Christ and daughter of the King!

I enjoyed reading your profile...you look fabulous for 40+!
I turned 40 last year and this year for my 41st birthday, I get to have a baby! LOL So...even though my husband (43) will be able to retire from the Fire Dept. in approx. 6 1/2 years, nobody will be quitting work permanently anytime soon! HA!

That first one -- I read in a pamphlet, is exactly the kind a hummingbird would love to hang around.
They like "cone" flowers.
We have planted a few pots now too --pray for me that the Alberta weather doesn't destroy them, or the deer eat them, or the mice nest in them.
