It's Friday

And I'm nosy...

So here's the question: Have you ever tried waterskiing or wakeboarding?

I waterskied for the first time when I was in 6th grade or so and love it! I've never tried waterskiing with only one ski though. My husband was the pro at that.

When we bought our boat 10 years ago, wakeboarding was and still is the latest craze. I'm the one that taught my kids how to wakeboard. Yep, I sure did!

Now days you wouldn't find me at a lake, in a bathing suit, standing on skis for all the world to see! Let my Jenny Craig results kick in first!

I am a tubing kind of girl. Put me on the back of the boat on the Big Mama and I love it!
I have tried waterskiing before and hurt myself bad in the hoo-ha when I fell. Painful memories!

I've never done either. I like tubing, but something that requires me to keep my balance and hold on sounds like trouble!

I have tried and drug the bottom of the river...forgetting to let go of the rope...yea I am that smart.
And you are a little twig...you look GREAT in anything!

Hey Linda, I was just reading your post and if you read mine you will see I'm a big chicken. I don't tread water. I've got to get over my fear. Sounds like you enjoy the water sports.
Good luck on Jenny Craig. I'm 11 weeks on WW and still going strong.

To the health of it is what I say.

God bless, Viola

I've skiied once, when I was 35. LOL! And, NOPE, I won't be revealing myself in a swimsuit anytime soon... maybe ever again! LOL!

Never tried either one. I'd rather watch!

I used to waterski....back in the day. Then a few years ago I went boating with my uncle and tried again and FELL SO HARD I thought I had ripped me a new (you know what) I held my bum while getting back in the boat cause I thought for sure I should be bleeding. SO NEVER AGAIN.

Nope can't say that I have done either. Now I have been on the boat watching as others have done it but that was more that 30 years ago.

It's Sunday and I'm late again! I've never done either, I'm afraid of deep water. I can be on a boat but not IN the water!
Love Di ♥

While dating my now-husband, his parents had a boat and I had lots of opportunities to water ski but was chicken. Something about needing that strength to be pulled up from the water scared me. Now I wish I had taken on the challenge. And who knows? If the opportunity presented itself again, I just might.

nope, never tired either one (or snow skiing for that matter)...id rather stay on the boat and be the spotter! i dont think i would be a fan of falling and getting water up my nose and then having to try to find my bikini bottoms!

My best friend used to take me to the lake with her and her family every summer when I was a young teenager. Her sweet & very patient parents taught me to water ski. I had so much fun with them and love that they included me.
Thanks for the reminder of this tonight. Those are very fond memories of mine.
My skiing days are over. I'm not fond of sporting a swim suit either. Can't say I wouldn't, but it wouldn't be pretty. :)
Love you!
