It's Friday

And I'm nosy...

So here's the question: Is it just me or are you as sick as I am of seeing all of the "Christmas vignettes" in blogland? I'm really not a scrooge at all but if I see one more vignette I think I'll switch permanently to Facebook!

Truth be told, I think I just might be a tad bit jealous. I'm so behind in my holiday decorating and I don't have the energy to get started. It can all be a bit overwhelming don't you think? In my mind I have these wonderful grandeoise plans but in reality, I'm just too plain TIRED!

I've never tried those 5 hour energy drinks or ever had a Red Bull (people at work drink them like water...remember, we start work at o'dark thirty!)

Today's feeling like a Red Bull day!

Put the Red Bull down !
Don't drink it !!
Nasty stuff !!!

I get a kick out of looking at all the creativity but I don't do it. A tree is all we decorate.

Back away from the Red Bull. Not worth it!

Stick with the Lo-Carb Monster. You will never be the same. Ever.

I figure it's only for a month, I can handle it. However, if you come to my blog, you'll see nothing Christmas-y. (sigh)

I've never had a Red Bull. Although I could sure use one every day around 2.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Linda,
Warning..... do not visit Under The Wild Cherry Trees! We don't want to lose you here in blogland! LOL I hope you weren't talking about my last 2 posts of my dining room and great room! I even have a 3rd one planned for my kitchen. I really do enjoy looking at all the Christmas stuff. I guess in a way I'm still a little child like and find that it does lift my spirit and I get lots of wonderful decorating ideas to try too. I hope you find the energy to decorate and and that you have a most joyous Christmas! Warm Christmas{{{{hugs}}}}}, Loretta

Linda,
Last year I put up some stuff, but all my decorations are in storage which means I have to drive a distance to get them. Not a problem it's just making the time to do it.

Don't touch the Red bull...

Hugs, Viola

I'm afraid I'll never get sick of the Christmas vignette's I love them all.
I'm hopeless I know.
I listen to Christmas music all year long. (don't hate)

I think you need to put up just few decorations and you'll feel better.

As far as Red Bull.........makes my heart race. Can't stand it.

Sometimes Christmas can be a little overwhelming. Especially if we are just NOT feeling it...or haven't got started on any decorating, baking, all the DOING.

I think our ancestors would laugh at us and wonder why WE have made Christmas so complicated and draining.

Gosh for some reason I haven't been all that interested in decorating this year either. I am so tired of all the WORK Christmas brings to us moms and women. I was running around the mall the other day, all in a panic. I was so worried about fulfilling the "kid's" Christmas lists and after sitting on a bench, checking the the long list I had made, I had a epiphany. I decided that all of my to do lists were making my Christmas extremely overwhelming and "not fun" and enough was enough. I decided to get the girls some of things on their lists and then give them a gift card to the mall. I also did not put up all of the decorations this year or worry that what I did put out was perfect. I too was just not in the mood for all of the hoopla and I am not being a Scrooge either. I just decided to simplify and enjoy more this year. Of course my husband wanted to know why he had to drag all of the Christmas boxes down from the attic just to turn around and take them all right back up!
