My daughter has a college friend visiting from Arizona. She flew in yesterday and will be here with us until Tuesday. We think it's hot here in our city but she thinks the weather is tolerable...if you're comparing it to Arizona this time of year that is.
Speaking of heat, guess where we're taking our visitor tomorrow? We're going to Six Flags Magic Mountain...and we're gonna bake like lobsters! Why in the world did I agree to this? Not only agree, but volunteer to go...willingly! I can't take the roller coasters anymore, I get motion sickness, and I don't even want to think about the crowds of people that we will encounter.
MAGIC MOUNTAIN + SUMMER VACATION = HOT, SWEATY MOBS OF PEOPLE! MOBS AND MOBS!
I'm trying to be positive and think of all the fun we're gonna have...but I'm not succeeding.

I hope it cools off enough to be bearable. I hope you have a good time, but I totally understand not liking the heat with the combination of so many people.

Hello and thanks for stopping by my blog. The river picture was taken in Poudre canyon, it is close to Ft Collins. Now the other pic was taken in Snowy Range. There is alot of water in the moutain areas, not sure about anywhere else. If you go back to my blog, I had a link in that post that went to a woman named Kim's blog. She lives in Colorado and not too far from where we are going, so she may know some area's for you.
Hoping that the day is cool for you tomorrow. I hate going to a amusement part and it being hot. By the way, your children are lovely.

That is so weird. I was looking at my can of Coke zero about 15 minutes ago & it has a buy 1 get 1 free to Magic Mtn & I thought it'd sure be fun to take the kids. Then I remembered when I went in the summer once & it was stinking HOT!
