I've liked my hair length over the past couple of years. Not to short yet not to long. Kathy, my hairdresser didn't take off enough last time so today I was in desperate needed of a haircut...and I couldn't wait to get there.
Now I wish I had waited! I cried all the way home. She cut my hair S-H-O-R-T! Much shorter than I am liking to wear it these days. As I was writing out my check, Kathy said "it's the same length as what's on your driver's license." I told her "and I didn't like it then either!"
So what's a girl to do. Luckily my hair grows fast but still I know I'll be crying tomorrow morning and cursing Kathy while I'm at it.
Oh yes, I even brought her 2 pictures of a haircut she gave me 2 years ago. An adorable cut. No go, she did what she wanted today.
Sorry Kathy...I'm now looking for a new hairdresser and praying that my hair grows fast, fast, fast in the meantime!

I'm sorry. It's tough to get a bad cut. I hope you find a hairdresser that cuts the way you want your hair done.

I hate not getting what you want. I am taking a picture of my hair this morning though just for you. I always love the way they fix it at the hairdresser, but then when you get home, you can't do anything with it like they did. But then one of my hairdressers that I had before that always gave bad haircuts, I hated the way she fixed it and couldn't wait to get home to play with it myself. I bet there has to be something that you can do, especially if it is short. Let me know how it goes. I would love to see a picture of it and I bet I could suggest something. But go back on mine and you will see what a mess it is this morning.

Oh I'm sorry your not happy with your haircut. I've had that happen to me before too. Why cant they cut your hair the way YOU want it, not the way THEY want it? Your the one paying!! I bet it looks cute though, even though you dont like it!

Frustrating to pay to have someone NOT listen to you! When you find that new, perfect hairdresser, let me know 'cause I'm looking to! My reason is the same: mine won't layer--she only cuts it so the back it totally even.
Good comeback to her comment that it was exactly like your license picture. I think this is exactly the reason why I seem to only get one haircut a year!
That's not fun. The wrong hair cut always seems to take forever to grow out.

Oh I am so sorry! I think everyone of us has had that experience.. But it is so horrible to have to go through. I bet it is adorable on you & you'll get lots of compliments.

I have a feeling it looks much worse to you than anyone else - it probably looks really cute! I do know what it feels like to have that happen. A few years back I got mine cut before we went to my hubby's high school reunion. I had a male hair stylist and he cut it so short I couldn't even get a curling iron in it! The timing was crummy. I hope your hair grows fast!

We CAN so relate :( I get bummed to when I get a bad cut. It's also very hard to find a good person. I also have natural curly hair and for some REASON, the hairstylist Loves to cut it..short. I really have to tell them all during the haircut that it curls up and it's shorter than they think. I LET NO ONE CUT MY BANGS....
It will grow fast and tomorrow will be a better day!

It is so tough to find a hairdresser that cuts a good 'short' haircut. I can totally relate, but I think I finally found one. So if you are ever in my neck of the woods - I can hook you up!

Yep, I am like you...the minute a hairdresser starts not listening to what you want is the minute to start looking for a new one.
That is why my hair looks the way it does right now...

I totally can relate to your haircut experience. I had the same thing happen last December, so after 15 years, Frank and I broke up! Now, I have a new stylist, and I am much happier. However, Don still goes to Frank. What happened to solidarity? I don't know. I agree with your other friends -- I WANT to SEE a picture!

I am sure its fabulous!!! I do understand how you feel, there is nothing worse than leaving the hairdresser not happy with the cut, its terrible, but as you said - one good thing hair grows, and yours grows fast, so as they say the difference between a good hair cut and a bad hair cut is about two weeks.............xx hold on..........
