It's Friday

And I'm nosy...

So here's the question: Next Friday is the biggest shopping day of the entire year...aka "Black Friday."

Will you be out there shopping on Friday too?

Do you get up at the crack of dawn to stand in line at Wal-Mart for their unbeatable deals or will you spend hours at the mall and Target getting all of your Christmas shopping done?

No malls or Target for me on Friday, I'll be at the CRAP fair...I mean CRAFT fair! Every year that we spend Thanksgiving with my sister up in Northern CA, we head to the craft fair at the fairgrounds on Friday. Although we affectionately call it the "crap" fair, we love it just the same and look forward to it again this year. It's become a family tradition!

Hi Linda,

You couldn't pay me enough money to get out in the middle of all those crowds! No thank you! I like to do my shopping during the week when my girls are at school and the crowds are almost non-existent. I can get so much more accomplished.

I love craft fairs! Hope you have a fabulous and fun weekend!

I love to be in the mad chaos of it all, but the past couple of years I have had to work on that Friday and I will be working again this year.:( Oh well.
Have fun at the craft fair and have a great Thanksgiving!

I stay away from the crowds on Friday, sometimes I'll go out late in the evening though! I am going to hit Meijer on Thanksgiving morning because they've got iPods on sale and that's one thing my girl wants.

You'll have so much fun! I won't be out there this year because I have to work Friday through Sunday. I do go sometimes when I have the day off. I often spend that weekend up in Traverse City where there are lots of cute unique shops with friends, but that won't happen this year either. Oh well - next year!

The only shopping I might be doing on Friday is online. That is where I do most of my shopping. So much better than dragging kidlets with me.
To bad you can't shop at the craft fair online.

The girls and I might drag ourselves out of bed to catch some deals, but not at the crack of dawn!
A funny story about 'craps'. My husband was showing property to a couple who happened to be good friends of ours as well. She was from Tijuana and naturally had a heavy accent. It took me awhile to get it...but when she would say she wanted an extra 'crap' room, I thought she wanted an extra bathroom, when she meant craft room. I teased her to no end on that one.
Happy weekend.
Brenda :)

I am not a black Friday girl! I work the day after Thanksgiving, but even if I didn't, I wouldn't be out shopping. Hope all those that DO shop that day have a great time!

I'll be home. I'm not a big shopper.

I will be up in Northern California next week too, but not out in the crowds. Maybe we can chat soon, I would love to catch up.....

I don't do Black Friday either! I'd rather have all of my shopping done before Thanksgiving. I would go to the craft fair though. That sounds much more like my kinda thing. And I wish they had it on-line too which is another favorite way to shop.

It's one of our traditions that the girls get up on Friday and go shopping...not at the crack of dawn...but early enough. I'll be out in the crowds!

Unfortunately I'll be out in the mess but as an employee and not a shopper... I work for HL...*sigh* Maybe next year I'll get to shop instead of work!

I wandered over here from Redhoodoo's blog.

I might go if my Mom and sisters want to. I don't need to buy anything. I just go because it's fun to be 'part' of something. We usually make a nominal effort to shop then just go out to breakfast. Most of my shopping is already done.

I stay as far away as possible from those crowds!

You wont find me anywhere near a store on Friday!!! I'll be hiking through a lovely landscape in what looks to be a rainy morning!! That makes me happy!

I don't know if I have ever shopped on Black Friday. I don't like shopping much and I hate crowds, so I won't be shopping. I think I am working anyway!
