This didn't keep me a little busy, it kept me ALOT busy...but boy does it feel good when everything is all packaged up and dropped off at the post office.

And now for the really good stuff...
I finally got some baking done. I've got a slew of things I plan on making but yesterday I made these yummy treats. Man are they good and they couldn't be any easier to make. Jan, thanks for posting about these. I also made sugar-coated pecans. Today I'll bake cookies, make more candy, and just maybe I'll get my Christmas cards done!?! Hopefully it will rain all day, it makes for perfect baking weather!

Everything looks splendid Linda. I am so glad you liked those little treats. Aren't they the perfect make and eat. Love them. Yours are pretty though. No fair. You are so uber talented and thoughtful. Just so great.

I've been doing a lot of the same things - working into the evening but I'm almost done!
Actually, I'm feeling pretty productive lately, even considering all that's going on in my life right now! It's a miracle, I tell ya!
I baked 2 dozen cookies last night and I just about finished with my Christmas shopping yesterday! Everything is wrapped and under the tree! So, guess things are plugging right along!

I am so behind that I am starting to feel the Christmas stress. Hopefully Saturday will be my baking day. Oh and last minute shopping day. Oh and house cleaning day. Oh and last minute shopping day. Yeah I am really behind!
VERY behind. But, I don't care. I am going to try and simplify and make it about family time. No extra money this year really makes it easy to do that.
I noticed your comment on Jen W. post and wanted to "ditto" about "Jesus only got 3 gifts..." We have always told the kids that is how Santa and Mom and Dad do it... 1 from Santa, 1 from Mom and Dad and then the last 1 to share with sibs. (games, dinner out, or the movies...etc) It has always been our policy to keep it about Christ.
Those little treats are my kids favs. Elijah loves making them and they are so yummy!
Hi Linda ~ I'm very behind in my baking and cooking. But after today, I'm on vacation for 2 WHOLE WEEKS!!! I'm doin the happy dance! So I have a list of things to start on tomorrow!

I saw those candy treats at Jan's. They look mouthwatering!
I'm not quite done shopping for the girls, but I know what I'm getting for them so it should be easy enough. We've got 20+" of snow the last 3 days. That's slowed things down a bit.

everything looks beauty filled and scrumptious, linda:) i've been very busy here on the lane, today, too... i've wrapped, baked, and cleaned. WHEW!!! now i'm ready for a hot shower and my pj's:)

I AM SO BEHIND! Working 9 hours a days really puts a cramp in my schedule. Plus this year, we were short on funds so I decided to make all of my kids christmas presents. Geezo Peezo! That takes so much MORE time than buying something. It may have been less expensive, but way more time consuming! Can't figure out which I like better.....lol
