So here's the question: Have any of you ever been to the store Tai Pan? I'll be stopping by one today on my way to our campout this weekend. I always ask my husband to stop but he usually just wants to get to our destination, then when we come home on Sunday they're closed. Today I'll be driving my own car and can stop anyplace my little heart desires!
Is there anything in particular I should be looking for while I'm there?
I can't wait! I hope I'm not disappointed.

I use to do all the purchasing from Tai Pan, when I was working for Smith's/Kroger's/Fry's, in Burley.
They really do have some neat things, but really look close for any types of damage.
The closest one to me is now 3 hours away.
I really enjoy "window" shopping there. Sometimes I find something I want and other times nothing grabs me.

I haven't ever been to one of the stores, but I know people from here that drive to St George just to go shopping there. It sounds like a fun place to go shopping.

Linda I am in Utah this weekend and every time I am here I never leave with out a trip to Tai Pan Trading - I love that place. It is like Disneyland for Home Decor. I packed an extra collapsible bag in my suitcase so I could shop! I like it better when we drive to Utah so I have more room to take things home. Try to go sometime at CHristmas -it is amazing.

Taipan is the only reason I go visit Utah. Well, that and my family lives there, but I just use them as an excuse. I heart Taipan!! I remember when they were a little whole in the wall and you had to havev a business license to get in. I wish they would bring one to AZ. You'll have to share your finds with us!

I have been there when I have been in Utah. We have a store a little like that out here. Tai Pan is where I got all the wedding vases for Katie's reception tables.
