- Hi, my name is Linda! After being away from the blogging world for a number of years, I thought I'd give it another try. I've missed the creative outlet I once enjoyed and I especially have missed the friendships that developed. I'm looking forward to this new (but familiar) adventure! Since blogging last, my life has drastically changed! I've been blessed with a wonderful handsome husband, bonus children and grandchildren, and I became "Mimi" to one gorgeous little guy! I am blessed beyond measure! One thing hasn't changed tho and never will...I am a lover of Christ and daughter of the King!

Hi Linda, I am so glad that you stopped by, us emptynesters have to stick together!! I have just spent a little time skimming over your blog, of course i had to go to August when I guessed your daughter would have left home. It is such a sad, but happy time, my emotions were and are all over the place. On one hand I am so sad to have her gone, we always did so much together, but on the other hand I am so proud of her independence and her sense of adventure, both of which I lack, esp. when I was 21. Our son left home at 24, just a couple of weeks after our daughter, so for almost 25 years I had them here, and in 3 short weeks, we were alone. I was scared to death my husband and I would have nothing to talk about wihout the kids here, but, surprise, we are having a great time together! Who knew?!?! LOL I have added your blog to my list of ones that I follow, and I hope you will stop by and visit me regularly. I also read your 100 things about me, and we have lots in common!!I have 2 kids, a boy, then a girl, I want to live by a lake, I have always wanted to be a teacher, Fall is my favorite season, I go to the library often, I get car sick, I love to walk my little fur babies, I love Thin Mints, but only straight out of the freezer, I could go on, but I wont bore you! Have a very Happy Valentines Day! I have to go make an appetizer to bring with us to the party we are attending! Sue
