So here's the question: Next week is Spring Break for my college daughter (aka little sis). She's got fun things planned and hopefully I'll get to join in on some of them too.
1) Do your kids have Spring Break next week also?
2) Do you have special Spring Break plans?
When my kids were smaller, Spring Break was called Easter Vacation. My husband owned retail stores and was always working so I'd pack up the kids and off we'd go. As the kids got older, we'd save up each year and go to Hawaii or on a cruise during Spring Break, usually with our good friends the Castro family.
To this day, I still feel the need to leave town during Spring Break. So many wonderful, fun memories were made during this time of year!

In our area this week is spring break for the colleges. My daughter had the week off and has enjoyed sleeping in and doing things with friends.
My girls are on Spring Break the first week of April...we're heading to Colorado for our first ski trip. I hope I don't break a leg...literally! Have fun with your daughter, whatever you decide to do!
Linda,
I hope you have a wonderful Spring break with your daughter. Our breaks would very from staying home and doing local things to going to NYC and Phoenix.
Spring Break is still two weeks away for us.
Kirk will be home from his trip, Josh will not have classes to teach at the studio, high school or college...but I think life will be about like it is...
no big plans!
Have a wonderful time with 'little sis'
We have 2 weeks off for spring break, but we don't usually go anywhere. This year we are just going to hang out and relax...no schedule at all.
Since we homeschool, and it nearly ALWAYS snows or rains during the 'official' spring break, we'll not have ours until it gets a little warmer and we can enjoy it more. Probably in April. No big plans tho'.
Hi Miz Linda,
It's called Spring Break here in the South and we never do anything for it, lol Just stay at home since hubs and me both work our son just hangs out sleeping in late which he loves to do. Now he's a college kid so he enjoys breaks between his semesters, still does the same thing, sleeping in as much as he can *smiles* Hope you have a great time!
Cassie doesn't get spring break since she's at cosmetology school. But she's usually home every weekend! I'm not sure when Mark's is...guess I should check into that!
Have a great weekend!
Hugz,
Michele
Spring break for son starts today. For daughter one week from today. For me...sometime in April. Heaven forbid we should all have a chance to relax at the same time.
Our spring break is in 2 weeks and we are meeting our "older" kids at my parents house... checking on my dad and playing!
I hope you go have fun with your daughter!!!
katherine's spring break is not until the first full week of april... {it is usually in march and 12 days long; however this year (due to the ice storms), in is only 5 days:/}
anyway, we normally go to either florida or to the smokies for a week and then spend the rest of the break in august at the masters golf tournament.
however, i have NO idea what we are going to do this year???
love,
dani
No spring break for us. We homeschool so we go when everyone else is still in school and the lines are short or the beach is empty.
I would love to live next door! I have wonderful neighbors. But we can always use another one! m
It's a great time to travel.
My mom, sister & I are going to Chicago.
I'm so excited & so ready. I've never been before.
Last spring break we went to NYC. It was so much fun, so I know this trip will be too.
My kids are grown, but when they were home we'd occasionally take trips during spring break. One year the kids, my mom and I went to Hawaii. It was great.
I love to travel!
Hope you have a great time with your daughter.
We get a whopping 4 days--so not alot of time to go and do. Hope you have a great spring break!
Our spring break is in 2 weeks. For several years we rented a cabin in the mountains so the kids could ski. Now we usually stay home and do day trip stuff. I'm a teacher, so I also get that week off. It's nice just to be together during that week.
My two (college) girls will be arriving home in about 3 hours for their spring break. I can't wait! They are in school in South Carolina. We live in a little village about 15 miles outside of Central London so they love coming home. My oldest is bringing her boyfriend this time and we haven't met him yet so should be lots of fun. Last year she brought a friend. We will shop, eat, sightsee, and of course they will sleep-ALOT : ) Enjoy the time with your daughter.
AHHHHHH, spring break! you just brought back so many mexico and south padre island, TX memories for me! i used to spring break it up big time! now, i go to FL to my sisters house during matts spring break (yes, hes still in college, finishing his degree this summer!). so, this week, i AM in FL, but he stayed home...to work during his spring break!
Caroline goes to a Christian school, so we still have Easter vacation. Caroline and I are headed to the great state of Washington to spend the week after Easter with Robin (http://therobinsnestcountrycrafts.blogspot.com/) and her family. My sweet dh has to work! We are so excited as we have planned many fun things!
