So here's the question: Today is Friday the 13th. Superstition has this day as either being a day of good luck or bad luck. Friday the 13th occurs at least once in a calendar year, but at most 3 times a year.
An estimated 17 to 21 million people in the United States are affected by a fear of this day. Some people are so paralyzed by fear that they avoid their normal routines in doing business, taking flights or even getting out of bed. It's been estimated that $800 or $900 million is lost in business on this day.
I tend to just go about my day, often not even noticing the connection. Guess I'm not superstitious.

Some times I wondered if it was lucky or not..lol..my first born was born on 12-13-1963 which happen to fall on Friday... some days I felt luck until he became a teen and boy I was wondering if it was bad luck or not cause if something bad was going to happen it was going to happen to him. But he grow up and things seem to be alright now....shhhh don't let luck hear me say that..giggle....
He always thought Friday the 13 was his lucky day.
I have never been a big believer in Friday the 13th but a couple of years ago m y daughter was in an automobile accident on Friday the 13th. The ambulance was turned away from two hospitals because they were so busy! Something to do with Friday the 13th? Oh - and it was a full moon!
Oh, it is a GREAT day especially since my daughter was born on the 13th (though it was a Saturday). I just think 13 is a LUCKY number no matter what day of the week it falls on!♥

Goodness No! Most days I don't even know what the date is..lol ;) My brother was born on Friday 13th..and that has went with him all his life...in a good joking way!

My husband and I got married on Friday the 13th. The court house had a cancellation, believe it or not!! lol We thought that would also help us remember it. We both forgot our first two anniversaries, until a few weeks later.
Never been bothered by it.. I'm not superstitious though so no big deal.
Did Courtney stay here for Spring Break or decide to come home? The weather is Beautiful!!! Come & see us...
I'm not at all superstitious, even tho' I was born on the 13th.
I remember the first time I flew in an airplane, I noticed the seat numbers skipped over 13. I thought that was interesting because even tho' it might say row 14 you're still sitting in the 13th row from the front aren't you?!
I guess it doesn't bother me because I didn't even realize that it was Friday, the 13th yesterday. Didn't even register once.

We had a party on this day. Trying to change the perception. It turned out to be a great party, so I guess it worked.

I was born on Friday, September 13th and have always thought of Friday 13ths as wonderfully unusual days that were just destined to be full of fun. This year, the first day of a beach trip, how much more wonderfully fun can that be!
