It's Friday

And I'm nosy...

So here's the question: When you were growing up, what was your favorite thing to find in your Easter basket on Easter morning? Jelly beans? Peeps? Chocolate?

For me, I loved the hollow chocolate bunnies...and the bigger the bunny the better (say that 3 times fast!)

Linda, I loved the peeps. LOVED them. Today, I wouldnt touch them. LOL! I guess I had more than my share. I also asked the bunny to leave me a plate of raw veggies with dip in the fridge. He did. I will bet I was the only kid with that request. I still love this as a treat!

Always the chocolate! Anything that was solid chocolate, never cared for the hollow chocolate bunny. I snatched up all the solid little chocolate eggs in their brightly covered foil wrappings!

My mom used to put bubble gum eggs in our baskets. They were my absolute favorite as a kid, but I can't say I care too much for them now! Just stoppin by from SITS :)

Good Morning Miz Linda,
Definitely the hollow chocolate bunny! Now I'm loving the peanut butter Reese's eggs, yum! Which reminds me that I need to pick up some Easter stuff for the kids' baskets *smiles* Have a wonderfully blessed Easter!

I don't remember peeps at all. Isn't that funny. I loved big chocolate bunnies too. I love the feeling going outside and hunting the goods down. Such great memories.

Have a wonderful Easter.

Jelly beans say it all for me. I love the chocolate eggs too but we didn't get too much of the fancy stuff, mostly the eggs and jelly beans. When you have 7 kids, it's hard to get too fancy in the 50's - 70's.

Happy Spring, Happy Belated Easter Linda! I hope you enjoyed a wonderful day with your family! We are still working on the Easter candy, and also loved the chocolate bunnies!!! (It's also fun to hunt for Easter eggs with money in them...even the grown ups could join in then!) :-)
