The bad thing about being back home is the weather. I went for my walk at 9:00 pm tonight and it was still over 90 degrees. It was 106 today, a far cry from the strange weather we experienced in Colorado. It rained at some point almost each and every day that we were there. Seriously, I think somebody needs to tell Colorado that it's almost July already. We had some heavy duty rain/lightening/thunder in both Utah and Colorado, crazy!
I didn't post one single thing while I was away and I barely even got on the computer. The good thing was that I found out that I didn't miss it much. I was happy to realize this because I thought I was severely addicted! While I love blogging and the friendships I've made, I don't want to sacrifice life for a few more comments! This was a good eye opener.
We had a great visit, my parents are fantastic hosts, but it's good to be home. There's nothing like Home Sweet Home!

Welcome back..stay cool. We've had soooo much rain here in NJ...yesterday was finally pretty but they're calling for more rain today. On the bright side it is nice and green.

When I went to church camp recently, I was away from my computer from Sun. until the next Sat.
I thought I'd miss it so much too, but was too busy to miss it.

I can't believe it's that hot in Calif.
We went in June a couple of years ago and I'd have to wear a light jacket in the mornings and evenings.
Is this unusual weather for Calif.?

Welcome back! My son is stationed in Colorado and has been telling us about the crazy weather. He even saw a tornado a few weeks ago. We plan to visit in August.

I can relate to enjoying a vacation and spending time with loved ones, but there is nothing like sleeping in your own bed.
Welcome home! It is nice to go on vacation but it is always a great thing to come home- I can totally relate!
It is also super nice to not be on the computer. I didn't miss it on my vacation either. That is a good thing.

Thanks for visiting our state and yes the weather has been crazy around here. The heat is now upon us (in the mid to high 80's mostly) and still some rain showers at times.
I'm sorry I haven't been blogging either regularly and didn't realize you were visiting or I would have put in for nicer weather. My sister Brenda and I might have even offered to meet you somewhere just to say hi!
