Brandon had been renting a furnished place previously so his furniture was here with us...we'll actually not with us here in the house but at a small storage unit a few blocks away. We figured since he was home this would be a good time to clean out the unit which was full of his furniture, clothes, stereo unit, hockey equipment, etc. Cleaning out the storage unit, and his old closet here at home, was one step closer to decluttering and getting ready for a possible move this summer. It felt good to get it done.
We rented a small U-Haul to bring everything to his apartment so this is what I followed for the 3 hour drive south...
The guys drove the U-Haul but I was perfectly content with my company. My ever present traveling companion...
When we got off the freeway in Anaheim, my window was right next to a one way sign. It was so pretty I had to snap a couple pictures of it. Have you ever seen a one way sign done up so nicely? It was a first for me.
After the truck was unload and good-byes were said, we dropped off the U-Haul at a rental place nearby and headed home in my car. We hit lots and lots of traffic but were treated to the most incredible sunset. I tried taking pictures but I was busy driving so they didn't turn out so well. I just ended up with lots of blurry pictures. Howard was sleeping so I entertained myself with talking pictures while I drove. I took this one of the traffic ahead of me...
And this one of the traffic behind me...
I bet the car in back of me thought I was nuts when I stuck my hand out the window and took a picture of them. Trust me, it doesn't take alot to keep me entertained!

Cheri
PS- Will Macey be able to go home just for Christmas?
That is such a cute picture of your traveling companion! So cute. I think I could be tempted to get a pup like that. Such a sweet little face.
Ya, I would have thought you were nuts too if I would have been driving past you while you were sticking your hand out the window to take pictures!
I am glad Brandon is doing better and was able to go home. I am not sure I would want your view for that drive, good thing you had Jake's cute face to look at. He really has the sweetest face!
It makes me laugh that you took pictures while driving. I don't take them while driving, but if I am the passenger I just snap away and have some really neat pictures of our trips.
Man- What the life living with triplets!!! Glad you don't have to drive in rush hour traffic everyday..
How is Macy doing?
Your traveling companion is a precious one!! Bloggers, gotta love 'em, always have camera in hand!!!
Smart Boy!!
I love your traveling companion!
I am glad to know I'm not the only one that takes pictures when I drive. Some of my best pictures of the mountains are out my car window.
I just love your little furry friend. Our brown dachshund loves to sit on my lap when I drive. She loves to go bye-bye.
Enjoy your weekend.

You make me laugh! Yes, you must be a blogger with camera in hand, head out the window while driving! Even taking pictures of a One Way sign.
Jake is a so cute!
Well, long drive but it must be great to have Bradon back "home".
How fun, triplets! That oughta be a hoot at times.
Have a great weekend.
WOW...your son does have interesting room mates :)
Jake looks happy:)
Hey...driving and taking pictures...is that SAFE!???
MERRY CHRISTMAS LINDA!!!
Warmly,
Deb :)
It cracked me up that you were taking pictures while driving. I did that earlier in the fall and had my mom with me. I was trying to take pictures of the pretty trees. I'd roll down my window while driving (on the interstate) and she finally said "Would you like me to take them for you?" :)
I know people think I'm nuts, but I really don't care anymore. I know my blogging friends love to see all kinds of pictures....as do I. :)
I was telling my son about your son's living arrangement and he said he'd love to live with three girls. :) He's lived with two different married couples, his college roommate, alone & now it's about to change again.
Jake is sooo cute!
Thanks for the gift! I will love looking at the calendar every morning and reading Scripture to go with that day. You are too precious.
Love,
Valerie
I would've noticed the pretty one-way sign too!
