And the same goes for these beautiful women. They are all such warm hearted, giving ladies and I count it a blessing to call them friends. It's obvious that we are all different ages, but we just click. I just noticed that in the picture, each of has our hand touching or our arm around one another showing affection. That truly sums up how we feel about each other.
I'm always a little sad when we leave them because I feel torn. As I've mentioned before, we are planning to move to Colorado next year and while I want to move out of California in the worst way, it will break my heart to leave these dear friends. Good friends don't happen overnight and neither did these relationships. They've taken time to develop and cultivate and the thought of not seeing them regularly is a hard pill to swallow. The thread in the silver lining is that we do own a motorhome, and they are our camping club friends, so it's not like we won't be seeing them anymore. I'm sure we'll be able to meet up with them at least a few times a year for some camping fun.
We got home around 11:30pm and Courtney was in our bed watching TV. Lights were on, shutters were closed tight, and the house was locked up like Fort Knox. She gets a little scared here alone, but luckily she had Jake to keep her company. This is how I found him when we got home...all comfy cozy with his nose buried in between the pillow and blanket. Even little doggies get cold too huh!
If you haven't done so already, don't forget to leave a comment on my 400th post giveaway below. You still have time. We'll pick winners on Wednesday.
Take care and have a great day!

What a good looking group of friends!!!!
Good friends are so important. I have a feeling that even though you'll be in Colorado, you'll not only keep these good friends but make many more!

What a great group - you are blessed!
Looks like a fun group!
However, you are such a warm and outgoing person I have no doubt that you'll make lots of new friends in short order.
They are a very lucky group to have you too!
How did I miss that you were moving!!???
Another group of people will be so blessed to have you around.
Thanks for being such an amazing Blogging friend!
Looks like you had a great time. It will be hard to leave those friends, but I think you are the kind of person that would make friends anywhere!
Congrats on the 400th post. Sheesh, that's amazing.
Merry Christmas!

That's great that you'll still get to see them a few times at least. That's definitely the hardest thing about moving, leaving all your close friends.
When our oldest daughter is old enough to stay home by herself, we'd come home to find every.single.light on in the house. It was funny. It could be in the dead of winter and the house would be super hot just from all the lights!
Good friends are one of life's greatest treasures!
