So here's the question: What is your favorite kind of pie?
I know it's January and diets are in full swing but I'm dreaming about Coconut Cream pie over here, big time. I was fine until hubby had to go and have a slice of Chocolate Cream pie the other night at Marie Callender's. It's definitely his fault.
Also, my fellow nurse friend Mari says it's De-lurking Week! So, if this pertains to you, come on, de-lurk! Meeting new blogging friends is always fun and always welcomed! That's what blogging is all about!

Even though I've kept this post light and fun, my heart is heavy right now for those who suffer in Haiti and for those who have lost their lives. How can they have any hope after such devastation? The good news is that they can indeed have hope, hope through Jesus Christ who can strengthen and sustain them! That is my fervent prayer!

My favorite pie is the same as Loretta...most definitely pecan...oh I just drool thinking about them.
I agree, I so love for folks to drop by my blog, it makes blogging worth while, I know there are people dropping by, my side bar thingie tells me they do, sometimes I will have 4 little visitors at one time and then no comments left when they leave, and I feel like, well maybe I'm so boring or uninteresting that they just glance and leave, I would love for them to just say "HI" if no comment comes to mind.
I agree Linda, my heart is heavy and sad for the loss lives and devastation in Haiti, my prayers go up for them, but there is always hope through our Savior.

I love pie, I am a girl who love good old Apple pie!! yummy, but none for me. Not on the diet plan.
Linda, I am a strange one, dont really care for dessert pie, but a homemade chicken potpie, now that is another story! LOL Sue
I would have to say coconut cream. I rarely have it, but wow when I do...I would love to just eat it forever.

I love me some raspberry pie but Mrs. Smiths Apple pie with the cinnabon topping isn't yummy too. Can ya tell I am a fruit pie girl?

My favorite that I make is the Caramel Pecan. BUT, I also have an affinity for the Boston Creme AND the coconut creme at my favorite hometown diner. Miss Vern is an AWESOME dessert maker. I've tried to make both of those at home but can't TOUCH hers.

Pretty much any pie is okay in my book. Except apple or coconut.
Give me a chocolate pudding, or a razzleberry topped with whip cream and I am in HEAVEN!

I love pies. I come from the Philippines but sometimes family visit your country, and manage to bring home a pie or two from Marie Callender's. Apple pie, pecan pie... and blueberry cheesecake, these are my faves.

I love pie, my mom makes the best! Her famous ones? Chocolate cream and coconut cream, both with a meringue top. Chocolate will always be my sentimental favorite.
cheese cake, oh I guess that isn't pie! for some reason cheese cake has taken over my food urges right now?? maybe I should just find a piece somewhere. As far as pie, chocolate chess with whipped cream and if that isn't around then pecan with cool whip and if that is all gone then apple with ice cream.
pecan, dutch-apple, and coconut creme are my favorites, YUMMO!!!
