Monday Miscellany

* I worked Friday and Saturday and it was so good to see everyone, both the patients and my co-workers. I mentioned on Facebook Friday night that although the day went well, I 1) had a massive headache 2) had an incredible backache and 3) had a throbbing ankle by the end of the day. Other than that, everything went great!

* Saturday I was feeling much better physically when I went home, plus we had a really nice day at work. Saturdays usually are either really good days or really bad days, it can go either way. Thankfully, Saturday was a dream.

* I work again today and tomorrow, then I'm off for a week.

* I went to the gym yesterday for the first time since November. It felt so good to get out and exercise again.

* I got a new car last week. Do any of you hate the car buying process as much as I do!? Since I put on so few miles each year, we've found that leasing works well for me. This is my third leased car. I wasn't ready to give up my car just yet but the lease was up so I didn't have a choice. I ended up getting the same car, just new.

* I've reconnected with a few friends from Jr. High School/High School on Facebook. One of them just had her 17 year old son pass away unexpectedly. I don't know the details but I feel so bad for her. This was her baby, her affectionate child, and the one who she says always said "I love you Mom!" Please keep Debbie and her family in your prayers.

Have a great Monday!

So sorry about your friend Debbie's son. I cant even imagine what it would be like to lose a child. I'll say a prayer for her and her family.

Linda, so glad you were able to go back to work and hope as time goes by you will not have all the aches and pains at the end of the day. It just takes time for the body to adjust.
I am so sorry for your friends loss, I will keep her in my prayers. I just don't know how I would handle such a loss.
Hope you enjoy your week off.

That is so sad about your friend. My children are my life and I can't even imagine the pain of losing one.

I am glad work is going fairly well. And yay for you going to the gym!

I hate buying cars...as many as we have gone through in our marriage you would think I would be used to it.

Linda so glad that going back to work went well, even with the aches and pains it is good to get back to your routine, see co-workers and have life get back on track!

What kind of car do you have (just nosy - ha ha).
I get very attached to my vehicles and hang onto them until they are dead! Lol

Sorry about your friends loss. That would be horrible. God Bless.

I was thinking about you, and hoping your return to work went well......yay.
So what do you drive? We have the opposite problem with mileage, too much! I was blessed to buy my parents car from them last year, the nicest thing I've ever owned. It's a loaded Lincoln MKX.......love it!!

Linda, I am so sorry to hear about your friend losing her son, I can only imagine how hard that must be for her and her family.

Take it easy as best as you can at work. Are you going to retire once you move?

Oh how sad about your friends son's passing Linda. I will pray for them. I will be so happy to see this winter go. It's been just horribly sad for so many that I know or know of.
Getting back into the swing of things can be a little rough but it can also feel so good! Best of luck to you!

Migrane, back ache, and ankle ache...rough day. But getting back to the gym if a great feeling. I really miss being able to go to the gym. Never thought I'd hear myself say THAT.
You complain about What you have when you HAVE it, then complain about not being able to do it when it's gone
make any sense??
