Thrifty Thursday

A few weeks ago I stopped by the Goodwill while I was out running errands. I realize I'm stopping by the Goodwill at least once a week now to look for Thrifty Thursday finds so that I can link up with Leigh over at Bloggeritaville. So far, Goodwill hasn't let me down!

So when I was there, right away I spotted something that I've always thought about getting but never have. Brand new, still in the box and all wrapped up, was a digital picture frame.

Do any of you have one of these? I don't plan on keeping it out all the time but I thought it would be fun to use at the holidays or for special occassions. I've seen them sold for well over $100 so when I saw it was $19.00, I didn't hesitate. I think it was a great thrifty find!

Linda, that was an AWESOME find. I've looked at them for gifts for the grandparents, I just haven't invested in one yet.

Way to go!!

I got my husband one of these for Christmas. It sits on our kitchen desk. We love it and we play a game that when you walk by you have to yell out the name of the country we're in for whatever photo is showing. It's mostly filled with travel photos of which we have literally thousands from approximately 40 countries so it's fun!

I don't have one Linda but I have seen one in action and I really liked it. I thought it would make a great gift for my son and his wife or my 15 year old. She is so into pictures of her friends! Brand new in the box is a great find! Love Di

We have one and we turn it on frequently. My husband had it in his office at work for a while and many people came by and watched it. Then he brought it home. It was a little unnerving when I would be home alone and a video with sound came up on the frame.
That was a good find. Enjoy it!

I can't wait to see how you use this frame! You have always come up with new ways of using frames.
Love it!

Yes, I got one for Christmas two years ago and our granddaughter LOVES watching it. Right now it sits on the kitchen counter behind the sink so I can see it every time I am there, which gets more viewing then if it was placed in...oh...say the living room.

Great find! We have one on the nurses station desk, and we've loaded lots of pictures of our residents and special activities. It's surprising how many of them love to stop and look at it as they go by.

you really got a great deal there. I have one and mostly only use it during holidays or if I have family over for a dinner or something, I pop in a memory stick and people enjoy watching it.
