The pool is finished and looking beautiful but anytime you have any type of work done, a mess ensues, so Sunday afternoon was clean up day. My husband hosed down the back yard and patio and ended up getting all of the windows wet in the process. Yes, all of them! So, cleaning the outside windows led me to cleaning the inside windows, which led to cleaning the shutters, which led to wiping down mirrors, which led to dusting, and so forth and so on! I'm sure you know what I mean! Why do I always forget that Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest! I(we) worked our butts off but boy does everything look nice. Spring cleaning has definitely begun!
Yesterday I wrote some thank you notes that needed to be sent out, packaged up some good mail, went to the post office, then worked in the yard.
Yep, today just might be a TV day!

and a big cleaning day is so uplifting--so Sunday may have been a good day after all, clean your souls and clean your surroundings.

I think you forgot that you are aloud to take a break. I am breaking a sweat just reading your account of the day. I didn't do "spring" cleaning but I did paint hubby's office.
Doesn't it stink that you are doing all this work on the house only to get it sold when you should be enjoying it? Go...git in that pool and RELAX!
I think Wendy is right. We had 81 yesterday and high 70's today but the rest of the week is calling for rain so your weather is coming our way!
I may need to go find something to iron!!
Don't feel bad about the weather...way on the other side of the country today it is cold and rainy...husband just got back from picking up chili dogs...fries and an orange frosty so all is good wit the world...great day not to clean or iron but to sit in pj's at 5:16 watching the Blind Side...it's a very good movie if you haven't seen it....
I love spring cleaning. Hate while I am doing it, but LOVE the feeling afterward!

That is the only thing that I don't like about summer. There is no excuse to just stay in and chill. It's a guilt trip. I want some snow days!! ;-)

I have been enjoying the good weather here in Utah but I hear that we are in for some rain towards the end of the week. The downside of the great weather is all of the extra work it creates. I have been busy getting the yard cleaned up and feel guilty if I am not outside working.
You are going to iron?
If I did all that you and hubby did, I'd be napping!
Now I'm wondering, did your husband do you a favor by squirting your windows? You got lots of things done because of it.
A TV day sounds appropriate for your weather. Think of how much you'll get done while watching TV!

I like to iron in front of the TV too...husbands..they sure get a lot of work out of us! A good thing I guess. Yes, I am so amazed every time I step out or even look out any window...it's such a blessing! :D

We have been good...it is snowing here today..so we aren't doing much. I am off...made a apple/fruit cobbler-got recipe from Lillian's Cupboard blogg..it is great...will probably sew and clean here...Hope that you are able to sell you home...our's never had a bite for almost 1 1/2 years..not one looker...so off the market it goes, til it might happen later down the road...
