Pretty Or Not So Pretty?

20/52:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So, what do you think, pretty or not so pretty?

Pretty. Especially when you live on the East Coast and have no desert.

Beauty.
I love the stark desolation that it represents.

The saguaros are majestic. I love their stark presence. I read in AZ Republic that they don't get arms until they are 50 years old (or something around that age.) Yes, it's beauty.

Pretty. I think 99% of everything in nature is pretty.

I love the desert. PRETTY!

Now when you post a pic of a lush, thick, dense forest with all kinds of foliage, I'll say that's pretty too!

I don't find too much on this earth that isn't

Well, I think it is pretty
there are so many forms of pretty

but it wouldn't be so pretty if you didn't have a nice icy jug of water with you

She's a beauty I say! All of nature everywhere is beautiful! I saw my first cactus at age 20 and I thought they were so neat! :D

Every time I see cactus that looks like this I picture it having a cowboy hat on it....isn't that odd?
Your lovely daughter is so pretty...it must have been fun to go visit her and best of all go shopping with her....That's what I will be doing all of June...heading for Jersey to see my girls...And I want you to know that you were lucky that you had a good meal at the Cracker Barrel...I guess with breakfast you can't go too horribly wrong...Any other time of day...Not so good...we ate at one recently and it was horrible...their idea of "roast beef" was overcooked..watered down pot roast....the veggies tasted worse then cafeteria food in H.S.
Not that I'm being negative...LOL.

HI!!!
Since I live in AZ, I love it....
But I did not fully LOVE it or realize how beautiful and Unique it was until I traveled to all 50 staTES!!!!If you were blindfolded and dropped in any state from say Texas or Missouri all the way to the east coast--YOU would NOT know where you were, unless in a city or by a unique tree, but if you were dropped in the desert southwest, only AZ has Saguaro Cacti!!!!!SO for that I love it!!!!
AZ has some AMAZINGLY beautiful places!!!!From the PEAKS in Flagstaff(SAN FRANCISCO Peaks) lovingly called that because on a clear day they say you can see all the way to San Fran. I have been up there and that is hard to believe!!!!The elevation is over 11,500 feet, to the nearly sea level desert floor, it is hot and dry and so very beautiful!!!!
Enjoyed that one
hugs,
jamie
