It's Friday

And I'm nosy...

So here's the question: Do you like watermelon, and if you do, do you put salt on it when you eat it? I know to much salt isn't good for you but I can't eat watermelon without it. Salt just brings out the flavor.

So delicious!

Watermelon is my favorite fruit followed by cherries! Yes I do put just a light sprinkle of salt on mine. It brings out the sweetness if the melon isn't as sweet as you would like. YUM!

I missed seeing you when you were here... I hope you had a good trip. Will Cortney be coming back next year?
I love watermelon plain.. But I am a horrible watermelon cutter. And don't eat it as much as I'd like...

I like plain watermelon on a hot day, outside. But I do miss the seeds. But only because I enjoyed the spitting contests.

Linda,
Thank you for your sweet email message. Yes, we do live in the Denver area and I love it. Sometimes I wished we lived in the mountains, but I am now glad we don't. Some parts still have snow.
We are into full swing with baseball right now. The boys average 7 games between them so that keeps me very busy working the concession stand and watching.
To answer your question, I love watermellon.
Have a great weekend,
Susan

Hi Linda, I am really craving some watermelon right now! The next time I go to the store I'm going to pick one up. I don't put salt on mine, I've tried it, but prefer it without. You asked about the wreaths...I would love to sell them, the problem is shipping them. They are really big and require a big box that so far I haven't been able to find. I am getting more and more requests, so it would be nice if I could find some. I hate that I am not able to sell something because of a box! Thanks for your interest, if something changes I will let you know. Kristen

We used to when we were kids in Borneo, but not now because the husband doesn't. My friend from Fiji does it.

So I am very surprised you in America do it too.

Thank you for visiting my site. I love having new visitors and we become friends.
