I worked Mon, Tues, and Wed so at least I missed most of this heat wave we've been having...but I'm facing it today and it's not a pretty picture. I need to go out and get some stuff done but have decided I'll brave it later on. I'm thinking that if I go out after 5:00pm, maybe it'll only be 100 degrees!
I'm supposed to be heading to the coast tomorrow, where it's 72 degrees. There's only one thing that worries me...I MAY NOT WANT TO COME HOME!!

Only about 98, but the humidity is stifling. You'd think after living in Texas all of my life I'd be used to it by now, but I'm not!!
Today in reached 81, and by the weekend it will be in the high 80's,and the humidity will be up. Yuck.

Wowzers! That's HOT! Here in coastal Michigan it was (sorry!!) a perfect 71 degrees all day and beautiful blue sky....
It's been hot and humid here in Michigan but we got a nice break today! Tomorrow it's supposed to warm up again and the humidity is going up too. Enjoy your time away.
Oh you poor thing. We are close to 100. It has a breeze attached though. Which makes it a little cooler. I am an upper 70 girl. Have fun at the cooler coast.
Oh my Linda, I sympathise with you, I would be melting!!! I dont know if this will make you feel better, but we are freezing in Melbourne!!!!!!! Its about 40 degrees (I think, if I did the conversion right).......anyway its very cold!!!

I'm so thankful that it's been in the mid 70's here. I was so worried about the heat wave that they kept telling us was coming. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed it won't hit here. I can't take the heat.

It is dang hot here too! Sounds like we are about the same. Have fun at the coast. Sure wish I was going there too..
We're in the upper 90s, but hey, it's Florida, and we gave big a body of water to gaze surrounded by palm trees, and air conditioning! Need I go on?
